Recently, New Story Schools grandparent Kathy Denner headed up a fundraiser in honor of Autism Acceptance Month in April. She and her coworkers from Kenco Logistics, American Standard in Groveport, Ohio sold bracelets throughout the month to benefit the Lancaster, Ohio campus where her granddaughter is a student. Kathy and her coworkers raised enough money to purchase the entire Amazon wish list for the campus plus additional donations for each classroom and the specials department. Mrs. Sherena at the front desk received a donation that she used to order items to give away to students she “catches being wonderful.” The campus is beyond grateful for the generosity of Kathy and the team at Kenco Logistics. They plan to hold another fundraiser in September to continue to support Lancaster’s students and staff.
