Rivermont Schools team members attended the 2023 Virginia Council of Administrators of Special Education Conference in Portsmouth, Virginia May 24-26. During the three-day event, our team engaged in insightful discussions with local, state, and national groups dedicated to improving quality of special education services.

Throughout the conference, experts in the special education field presented their thoughts, strategies, and resources. From keynote sessions to the vendor expo, Rivermont Schools expanded their connections and gained insights about how to further extend our reach and impact throughout Virginia. The team shared information about our mission, our services, and our resources at an exhibit table, where they also listened intently to the concerns and observations of leaders in our field. Opportunities like this event allow Rivermont Schools to assess how we can contribute positively to our communities and provide solutions to challenges in the field.
