Dr. Jill Blanchard, Senior Vice President of Operations for New Story Ohio, appeared before the Ohio Senate Education Committee on Wednesday, May 14 to advocate for increased funding for the state’s Autism Scholarship Program.

Dr. Blanchard emphasized the growing demand for specialized education and called for the approval of the amendment to increase the current scholarship amount in order for students to access individualized support.

“Our model is special – it’s our goal to provide an authentic school experience for our students. Our students deserve access to the same experiences their neurotypical peers receive,” Blanchard said.

New Story Schools operates five campuses across Ohio, offering small class sizes, individualized instruction, and behavioral and therapeutic support.
