Rivermont Hampton to Hold Open House Debuting New Hampton Location

Rivermont, A New Story School is thrilled to announce an open house and art expo to celebrate its Hampton, Virginia campus relocation and opening. Community members are invited to tour the new location, meet staff, and view the art expo with student artwork developed both as a group and individually, including drawings, paintings, poetry, and more.

Join us May 4 from 2-5 p.m. for this event where you can enjoy the art expo and learn more about Rivermont Schools.

Rivermont Schools, a division of New Story Schools, offers learners with autism or emotional support needs with more support, attention, and services through offerings like individual and group counseling, sensory room, transition programming, gymnasium and more. The Hampton relocation is part of a multi-million-dollar investment improving the infrastructure and environment of Rivermont schools across our Virginia locations.

The new building will feature:

  • Nearly 20,000 Square Feet
  • 11 classrooms
  • Playground
  • Trades Class
  • Career and Technical Education
  • Gymnasium
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Transition programming

Rivermont Hampton Principal, Dr. Paula Spady, stated, “As a lifelong resident of the city of Hampton, I have had the opportunity to live in the same community with my students. I have always believed good neighbors make a difference in the quality of life. Here at Rivermont Hampton, our motto is “We are developing good neighbors.”

This free, public open house and art expo will take place on Wednesday, May 4 from 2-5 p.m. at our new location at 421 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA 23666
