Wednesday, November 9, 2022, Rivermont hosted a craft fair and open house at their new campus in Hampton East, bringing together families, education advocates, community members, and several local delegates.
Attendees of the event were able to tour the newly renovated facility and had the opportunity to meet educators, therapists, and other Rivermont team members. The Fall into Kindness Craft Fair, in honor of World Kindness Day, showcased a gallery of student artwork where attendees were able to enter a raffle to win fall themed crafts and candles.
This new campus offers education and clinical therapy services to support students ages 5-22 in grades kindergarten through 12 with special needs, including those associated with autism spectrum disorder.
“Celebrating our new campus with our students, families, and surrounding community was such an honor.” said Angela Cooper, Principal of the Hampton East campus. “Rivermont has deep roots in the Hampton community, so we are excited to be able expand our support and continue to work in partnership with Hampton’s local families and districts to best serve our students.”
