On Friday, February 24, New Story Schools held their annual Art and Talent Show at the Columbus campus. Students’ art was displayed all evening in the gym, while students performed their selected talents on stage in front of an audience made up of teachers, friends, and family. Some of the performances included singing, dancing, tambourine playing, and joke telling.
Dr. Jill Blanchard, Senior Vice President of Operations, was in attendance Friday evening. “It’s so important to us that students at New Story Schools receive authentic school experiences and can explore their interests both academically and outside of the classroom,” said Jill. “The Art and Talent show gives students the opportunity to express their creativity and feel more connected to their school, teachers, and peers.”
New Story Schools includes five campuses in Athens, Columbus, Independence, Lancaster, and Sandusky, serving students with special education and behavioral support needs in grades kindergarten through 12, ages 5 – 22. To learn more about New Story Schools, visit our website or contact us.
