New Story Schools prides itself on being part of the vast and vibrant special education community in the areas we serve. However, we know that for most families, the need for services and support rarely ends with the school day. Luckily, most areas offer a lot of additional services for autism support.

For our families in Lancaster, Pennsylvania here are just a few ideas of other resources.

Autism Resources:

• Wellspan Philhaven has a Lancaster location and offers Autism and Behavior Health services. Visit https://www.wellspanphilhaven.org/Programs-and-Services/Center-for-Autism-and-Developmental-Disabilities/Services-at-CADD to learn more.
• Keystone Human Services offers several support services such as employment and vocational support, social and recreational support, counseling services, transportation and mobility instruction and more. Visit https://www.khs.org/what-we-do/autism-services/ to learn more. 
• Autism York is a non-profit organization that provides a friendly, supportive environment and programs to families and individuals living with autism spectrum disorder. Visit https://autismyork.org/ to learn more. 
• Easterseals Western & Central PA – York Autism Center is a drop-in center offering information, books, dvds and more resources for anyone interested in learning more about Autism diagnoses. Visit https://www.easterseals.com/wcpenna/our-programs/autism-asd-services/ to learn more. 
• York County – Intellectual Disability Program - The Intellectual Disabilities program offers case management or supports coordination to individuals with a qualifying diagnosis of an intellectual disability, developmental disability (ages 3 to 8) or autism.
