Rivermont Danville Students Create Artistic Superhero Storybook

Staff and students at our Rivermont New Story location in Danville recently created a project showcasing their artwork and creativity. Students in the class drew or colored their favorite superheroes and wrote out explanations of why the superhero they chose was their favorite. The following is from a student who colored a picture of his personal favorite, superman.

“Superman is my hero. He can lift up cars. I can help my grandma. Superman can stop bad guys. I can stand up to a bully. Superman can lift up airplanes. I can make someone smile. Superman saves people. I can help people. Superman can hear from far away. I can listen to my grandma and teacher.”

The students combined all of their photos and descriptions into a hard-bound book that they can be proud of and enjoy for years to come.
