On Thursday, June 27th, New Story Schools in State College, PA had the pleasure of hosting special guests from the Penn State football team. Located just three miles away from the famous Beaver Stadium, our neighbors stopped by to bring our students a day they won’t soon forget. The visit was a highly anticipated event, with the players engaging in a range of interactive learning activities alongside the students. From educational games to teamwork exercises, the football players' involvement brought an extra layer of excitement and inspiration to the day's curriculum.  

The players and students engaged in a variety of activities, including reading, making crafts, and playing basketball! The students were thrilled to learn from and interact with their local sports heroes, making the experience not only educational but also deeply memorable. The presence of the Penn State athletes underscored the importance of community and mentorship, leaving a lasting positive impact on everyone at New Story Schools.
